Matrika Shakti is the creative power of word and sound. when we sing eastern or western mantra (sacred syllables), we are invoking the power that has been gathered by these words every time they have be birthed into the world by one's intention and vibration. Below are some of the mantras and songs i have collected over many years. It is my hope that these sounds awaken our sense of connection to the earth, each other, and our selves. Share them and spread the love! Send me others that have great meaning to you and I will add them.
Blessed Be (to the tune of Let It Be)
When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Goddess calls to me
“I am here beside you” Blessed Be
For though we rarely see her
She is hidden in the rocks and trees
Her Love is all around us. Blessed Be
Blessed Be, Blessed Be,
Blessed Be, Blessed Be
Love is all around us, Blessed Be
For though we have these bodies,
We are so much more than we can see.
We are all connected. Blessed Be.
When we feel afraid, remember
Her strength and wisdom runs through me
Love is all around us. Blessed Be.
Blessed Be, Blessed Be,
Blessed Be, Blessed Be
Love is all around us, Blessed Be
And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me
Shine until tomorrow. Blessed Be.
I wake up to the sound of music,
Mother Goddes calls to me.
In strength and love connected, Blessed Be.

Take Me Away, Won’t You Carry Me,
Take Me Away, Won’t You Carry Me,
Let Me Rest in your Arms For A While,
Let Me Gaze in the Sweetness
of Your Smile,
Mother, Take Me Away,
Mother, Take Me Away.
(I believe this came from an ashram of Amma)
